Whitestone Lake Estates is a gated, private water ski community located in Talking Rock, Georgia—just an hour’s drive from Atlanta. Developed by those who are passionate about the sport of water skiing, Whitestone is comprised of 45 lots, many with homes, and two competition-style ski lakes. Each lake has a competition ski boat, a boat dock with a hoist, starting docks, and a slalom course. Additionally, there is a jump course and ramp on Lake 1.

Both the lakes and the common property infrastructure, including a community pavilion where gatherings occur, are supported by the entire Property Owner’s Association. We are grateful to our founders, Paul Kiker and John Roach, who had the vision for a world-class water ski community. Whitestone is both a great place to live, and a great place to ski!

The Whitestone Ski Club, which is integral to our community, hosts several tournaments each season. In the past we have hosted the AWSA Southern Region Championships, the Southern Region Barefoot Championships, the Kneeboard Nationals, numerous Georgia State Championships, and the first stop of a previous Pro Water Ski Tour. The Summer Starter is our annual 3-event tournament that draws both skiers and officials from several states. As Whitestone is a private community, daily skiing privileges are limited to property owners and their guests.
